Lookr Community Guidelines
Effective Date: July 10, 2026
Last Updated: July 10, 2026
Lookr is a fashion social-commerce app built around the idea that clothes look different on different bodies. We want it to feel like a thoughtful, supportive corner of the internet — somewhere you can share what you wear, learn from people built like you, and discover outfits that actually fit.
These Community Guidelines describe what's expected on Lookr and what we don't allow. They apply to every part of the Service: posts, profiles, comments, AI feedback requests, and direct interactions. They are part of and incorporated into our Terms of Service and EULA.
By using Lookr, you agree to these guidelines. Violations can lead to warnings, content removal, suspension, or permanent account termination depending on severity.
What we expect
- Be yourself. Use a real photo and accurate measurements. Don't impersonate anyone.
- Be respectful. People come in every shape and size — that's the whole point of Lookr. Compliment, learn, and ask, but don't tear anyone down.
- Be honest about what you're wearing. If you tag a brand or size, it should be accurate.
- Use the tools. If something feels off, report it. If someone is bothering you, block them. We'll back you up.
What's not allowed
Lookr has zero tolerance for the following. Content that falls into any of these categories will be removed, and the responsible accounts may be suspended or permanently terminated.
Nudity and sexual content
- Photos or descriptions depicting nudity, sexual conduct, or sexual exploitation
- Content that sexualizes minors in any way
- Solicitation of sexual content from another user
- Sexually suggestive comments, especially on posts from users who appear to be under 18
Harassment and abuse
- Bullying, intimidation, threats, or stalking
- Targeted slurs or hate speech based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, or any other protected category
- Body-shaming, "thinspiration," or content that mocks any body type
- Doxxing — posting another person's personal information (address, phone, workplace, etc.) without consent
- Coordinated harassment campaigns
Violence and harm
- Threats of violence
- Content depicting or glorifying graphic violence, gore, self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders
- Promotion of dangerous activities
Illegal content and conduct
- Content depicting or facilitating illegal activity
- Sale of regulated goods (firearms, drugs, prescription medication, etc.)
- Promotion of fraud or scams
- Trafficking, exploitation, or smuggling
Intellectual property violations
- Posting photos or content you don't have the rights to
- Using Lookr's trademarks, logos, or branding without permission
- Counterfeit goods
Privacy violations
- Posting photos of identifiable people without their consent (a clearly visible face that isn't yours)
- Sharing private conversations, private photos, or sensitive personal information of others
- Non-consensual intimate imagery (this is also a crime — we report it to law enforcement)
Platform manipulation
- Fake accounts, sockpuppets, follow farms, like farms
- Buying or selling accounts, followers, or engagement
- Spam, including repeated unsolicited promotional content
- Malware, phishing links, or any attempt to compromise other users' accounts
- Circumventing a ban or block
Misrepresentation
- Lying about who you are
- Pretending to be someone famous (parody accounts must be clearly labeled)
- AI-generated images presented as real photos of yourself
- Fake measurements designed to game the matching system
Off-platform behavior
We reserve the right to take action on accounts when serious off-platform conduct (illegal acts, severe harassment, threats) makes their presence on Lookr a safety risk.
AI-generated content rules
The Lookr "AI Critique" feature uses the Anthropic Claude Sonnet 4.6 model — reached through OpenRouter, a routing service — to give plain-English feedback on your outfit photos. The following rules apply:
- AI feedback is for you only. It is not posted publicly unless you choose to share it.
- You cannot submit images you don't own or have rights to. Don't run AI critique on celebrity photos, magazine scans, or other people's posts.
- Don't try to manipulate the model into producing content that would violate these guidelines (sexual, hateful, harmful).
- Report AI responses that violate guidelines. Every AI response has a Report button. We use these reports to improve safety filters.
- AI feedback is not professional advice. It's a style suggestion. Don't rely on it for any decision with material consequences.
Reporting and enforcement
How to report
- Posts: tap the kebab (⋯) menu on the post → Report
- Profiles: tap the kebab on the profile → Report
- Comments: long-press the comment → Report
- AI responses: tap Report on the response screen
- Outside the app: email
modelfitdev@gmail.comwith a description and any links or screenshots
What we do with reports
Every report is reviewed by a human within 24 hours, and we act on reports of objectionable content within 24 hours by removing the content and, where warranted, suspending or terminating the responsible account. Possible outcomes:
| Outcome | When we apply it |
|---|---|
| No action | Report does not describe a guidelines violation |
| Warning | Minor first-time violation; we explain what happened and ask the user to change behavior |
| Content removed | Specific posts, comments, or profile elements are removed |
| Temporary suspension | Repeated violations or single serious violation; account access blocked for a set period (typically 7 days) |
| Permanent termination | Severe violations (illegal content, serious harassment, sexual exploitation, repeat offenses after suspension) |
| Reported to authorities | Required by law (CSAM, credible threats of violence, certain other categories) |
We do not share the identity of the reporter with the reported user.
We retain the reports you submit for 12 months as a community-safety record, and we retain the moderation actions we take (warnings, removals, suspensions, terminations) for 36 months to enforce these guidelines consistently and to meet our legal obligations. These periods match Section 7 of the Privacy Policy and our internal data-retention schedule.
Blocking
When you block another user:
- They cannot see your posts, profile, or activity
- Their posts and comments are hidden from your view
- They cannot interact with your content
- You will not appear in their match feed and they will not appear in yours
Blocking is silent — the blocked user is not notified.
Appeals
If your content was removed or your account was suspended and you believe it was in error, you may appeal by emailing modelfitdev@gmail.com with the subject line "Appeal" and a brief explanation. We will respond within 5 business days.
Underage users
Lookr is for users 13 and older. If you are between 13 and 17, you may use Lookr only with the consent and involvement of a parent or guardian.
If you suspect a user is under 13, please report the account. We will investigate and remove accounts of users we believe to be under 13.
When we don't get it right
Moderation at scale is hard. We will sometimes leave content up that we shouldn't have, and we will sometimes take down content that didn't need to come down. If you think we got something wrong, please appeal (above) — we read every appeal.
We won't pretend to be neutral on safety. Lookr is a place where people share photos of themselves; abuse here causes real harm. We err on the side of removing content and suspending accounts when there's reasonable doubt.
Updates to these guidelines
We may update these Community Guidelines as the Service evolves. When we do, we'll revise the "Last Updated" date at the top and notify users of material changes in-app.
