Lookr End User License Agreement (EULA)
Effective Date: July 10, 2026
Last Updated: July 10, 2026
This End User License Agreement ("EULA") is a binding agreement between you and Smart Home Occupancy LLC d/b/a Lookr ("Lookr," "we," "us," or "our") for your use of the Lookr mobile application (the "App") on your device. By installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by this EULA. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
This EULA supplements (and does not replace) our Terms of Service and our Community Guidelines. In case of conflict between this EULA and the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service govern.
1. License grant
Subject to your continuous compliance with this EULA, Lookr grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, limited license to download, install, and use the App on a device that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use.
This license is granted for the term of your account and ends when your account is terminated.
2. Restrictions
You may not, and may not permit others to:
- Copy the App, except as expressly permitted by this license
- Modify, translate, adapt, or otherwise create derivative works of the App
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to discover the source code, except where this restriction is prohibited by applicable law
- Rent, lease, lend, sell, sublicense, assign, or otherwise transfer rights to the App
- Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices on the App
- Use the App in any manner that violates applicable law or regulation
- Use the App to violate the rights of any third party
- Use the App in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the App or interfere with another user's enjoyment of it
- Bypass any technical limitation or security measure in the App
- Use any automated means (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access or interact with the App
3. User-Generated Content — zero tolerance for objectionable content
The App allows you and other users to submit, post, and share content including photos, captions, comments, and profile information ("User Content").
By using the App, you agree that you will NOT post, submit, or transmit any User Content that:
- Is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, sexually explicit, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive, or otherwise objectionable;
- Depicts nudity, sexual conduct, or sexual exploitation;
- Depicts or promotes violence, self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders;
- Harasses, bullies, intimidates, stalks, or threatens another person;
- Sexualizes minors in any way;
- Discloses another person's personal or sensitive information without their consent;
- Promotes or facilitates illegal activity;
- Infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, right of publicity, privacy, or other proprietary right of any party;
- Contains malicious code or unsolicited promotional material;
- Impersonates another person or entity.
You are solely responsible for User Content you submit. Lookr does not endorse, verify, or take responsibility for User Content posted by users.
You agree that there is no tolerance for objectionable User Content or abusive behavior. Lookr will remove objectionable User Content and may suspend or permanently terminate accounts that violate this section, with or without notice.
You may report objectionable content via the in-app Report mechanism on every post, profile, and comment. Lookr acts on reports of objectionable content within 24 hours by removing the content and, where warranted, suspending or terminating the responsible account. Block tools are available on every user profile so you can immediately stop interacting with an abusive user.
4. License to your User Content
You retain ownership of your User Content. By submitting User Content to the App, you grant Lookr the license described in Section 4.2 of the Terms of Service.
5. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes what data we collect and how we use, share, and protect it. By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understand the Privacy Policy.
6. AI processing consent
The App includes an optional AI outfit feedback feature. By tapping Agree on the AI consent modal displayed before your first use, you authorize Lookr to send the photo(s) you submit, a summary of the body measurements you have entered, — if you have saved an optional style-context note in Settings — that text, and — when you request feedback on a post — that post's caption and any private notes you have added to the look, to OpenRouter, Inc. (a routing service) for delivery to Anthropic, PBC (the operator of the Claude Sonnet 4.6 model), for the purpose of generating outfit feedback. We do not send your name, email, account identifier, or other contact information. You may revoke this consent at any time in Settings → AI Critique. See Section 5 of the Privacy Policy for details.
7. Updates
Lookr may, at its discretion, provide updates, patches, or new versions of the App. These may include automatic updates, security fixes, or feature changes. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of any changes to this EULA bundled with the update.
8. Apple-specific terms
If you obtained the App from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge and agree:
- This EULA is between you and Lookr only, and not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content.
- Your license to use the App is limited to use on Apple-branded products you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App.
- In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price for the App (if any) to you. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the App.
- Lookr (not Apple) is responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the App, including (i) product liability claims, (ii) any claim that the App fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement, and (iii) claims arising under consumer protection or similar legislation.
- In the event of any third-party claim that the App or your possession and use of the App infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, Lookr (not Apple) will be solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of any such intellectual property infringement claim.
- You represent and warrant that you are not located in a country that is subject to a US government embargo or that has been designated by the US government as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any US government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this EULA, and upon your acceptance of this EULA, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce this EULA against you as a third-party beneficiary.
9. Termination
This EULA is effective until terminated by you or Lookr. Your rights under this EULA will terminate automatically if you fail to comply with any of its terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the App and delete it from your device.
Sections 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, 10, 11, and 12 of this EULA will survive termination.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. See Section 10 of the Terms of Service for the full disclaimer.
11. Limitation of liability
OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED AS DESCRIBED IN SECTION 11 OF THE TERMS OF SERVICE.
