Delete your Lookr account
You can delete your Lookr account at any time. Two ways to do it:
Option 1 — Delete from inside the app (fastest)
- Open the Lookr app.
- Go to the Profile tab and tap the gear icon (top right) to open Settings.
- Tap Account → Delete Account.
- Read the deletion summary and confirm.
- You'll get a confirmation email within a few minutes.
That's it. Your data will be deleted as described below.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email (if you can't access the app)
If you've lost access to your account or can't open the app, email us at modelfitdev@gmail.com with:
- Subject line: Delete my account
- Your account email address
- A brief description (e.g., "I no longer have access to my phone")
We will verify ownership of the email address and process your deletion request within 5 business days.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, the following is permanently removed within 30 days:
- Your profile (display name, bio, avatar)
- All photos and posts you've uploaded
- All comments and votes you've made
- All body measurements you've entered
- Your AI feedback history and AI consent record
- Your follow and save lists
- Your settings and preferences
- Your email address from our active database
Within 90 days, your data is also purged from our encrypted backups.
What is retained (and why)
A small amount of information may be retained as follows:
- Safety records (reports and moderation actions) — to keep the community safe and meet our legal obligations, we retain reports and moderation-action records, but we anonymize the personal identifiers tied to your account within 90 days of deletion. The remaining records are de-identified.
- Deletion audit record — we keep a record that an account was deleted (no personal info, just a hashed identifier and date) to demonstrate compliance with deletion requests.
- Legal-obligation records — if you are the subject of an active legal hold, subpoena, or DMCA dispute, the relevant content is retained only as long as that obligation requires.
- Aggregated, de-identified analytics — data that has been stripped of personal identifiers and aggregated may persist in our analytics platform.

How long it takes
- Confirmation: immediately, by email
- Data removed from app and visible to you and others: within 24 hours
- Data removed from production systems: within 30 days
- Data purged from backups: within 90 days
Can I recover a deleted account?
No. Account deletion is permanent. If you change your mind, you'll need to create a new account.
Delete specific data without deleting your account
You do not have to delete your whole account to remove individual content. From inside the app you can:
- Delete a post (and its photos). Open the post, tap the three-dot menu, choose Delete. The post, its images, its AI score, its comments, and its votes are permanently removed.
- Delete an AI critique. Go to Settings > AI Stylist Critique > Past feedback, open the critique, and delete it. The stored critique and the private photo it was generated from are removed.
- Clear your measurements. Go to Settings > Edit measurements and clear any optional measurement (weight, chest, waist, hips, inseam, shoulders). Height is required while your account is active.
- Turn off analytics collection. Settings > Share usage analytics stops usage-analytics collection going forward.
- Withdraw AI consent. Settings > AI Stylist Critique > Revoke consent stops any future data being sent to our AI providers.
These deletions take effect immediately and are permanent (backup purge follows the same 90-day schedule described above). If you want us to delete a specific category of data that you cannot remove yourself, email modelfitdev@gmail.com from your account's email address and tell us what you want deleted; we will action it within 5 business days.
